Step-by-Step Casting & Demolding Technique
- Wick Installation: Thread your wick through the center wick hole at the mold tip. Secure the wick firmly using wick putty, mold sealer, or heat-resistant tape at the outer tip to prevent hot liquid wax leakage.
- Release Preparation: For flawless demolding and immaculate surface gloss, lightly mist the mold interior with silicone mold release spray or wipe gently with a micro-thin layer of mineral oil prior to pouring.
- Pouring: Clamp the open end of the wick centered with a wick bar. Pour your melted wax (e.g. 85°C–90°C for crystal feathering palm wax). Leave undisturbed at stable room temperature to cool slowly.
- Effortless Demolding: Once the candle has completely cooled and solidified (natural contraction occurs), peel away the sealing tape from the tip, gently tap the base on a soft working mat, and slide the pyramid candle out smoothly.
